Did anyone get to go to the 2009 Tokyo International Anime Fair? Unfortunately, being located on the opposite side of the island, I didn't get over there. I did however wake up to Fuji's Mezamashi TV report on the TAF this morning, which was quite entertaining. I wonder if anyone captured the video.
They interviewed Japanese girls, a couple from Germany, and an A-Me-Ri-Kan [sic] dude. My favorite part was the first interview with a cute cosplay queen girl? In the racing world she'd be a race queen, is there an equivalent? Basically, the interview goes like this:
I believe what she meant to say was, "What are you talking about? I'm just a 'model' getting paid to cosplay. I hate anime." Or at least that was her facial expression.
Karube also got Masako Nozawa to do a Kamehameha for the camera. What an awesome way to start the day!
