In case you were wondering what happened to all the posts... I was in Tokyo last week. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
Here's a picture from outside of the JR Ichigaya Station, the sakura were incredible. I walked along the treeline from Yotsuya to Ichigaya, then headed to Akiba.
On Wednesday, I was staying near Tsukiji, so I had to make a trip to the fish market. I woke up at 5:30am and headed down there, but unfortunately I didn't find the auction area until after 6 or so... so I didn't get to see the maguro auctions. What I did see was a complete madhouse. Anyone who's been down there probably understands why they want to keep tourists out... you're just constantly in the way of everyone... even when you're standing on the side. Anyway, I managed to get a picture of this huge ass tuna.
Tomorrow I should be able to post some of our new figures. If you can't wait, just head on over the site and click the "in stock" link.
