Kanazawa Illustrator's Festival

I doubt any of the readers here will be in attendance, but this weekend Kanazawa is going to have its very own Illustration festival (金沢イラストレーターズフェスティバル in J-speak). I didn't see any advertisements last year, so this might be one of the first.

It's exciting that there are some huge names on the list. Among the featured illustrators are: Aoi Nishimata (西又葵), Mutsumi Inomata (いのまたむつみ), Carnelian, Hiro Suzuhira (鈴平ひろ), Shinryusai Tenmu ( 天夢森流彩), Tony, Nanase Aoi (七瀬葵), Sho Ryuga ( 龍牙翔), and others. However, I don't know if the artists will actually be in at the show or if only their artwork will be displayed.

Place: Labro Katamachi 7F
Dates: Nov. 6, 2009 (Fri) ~ Nov. 8, 2009 (Sun)
Time: 12:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm (6:00 pm on Sunday)
Admission: FREE
Official Website link (Japanese): http://www.artjeuness.net/event/event_detail.php?event_number=1866&posi=4213

Sounds like it'll be a great event. Hopefully, it won't be too crowded with the H1N1 'round these parts. If I'm not too busy with my domestic duties this weekend, I'll definitely run down and check it out.
