Level-5 x Ghibli: in Ni no Kuni

In Japan, collaboration products are very popular. The Japanese call the offspring of these brand collaborations W-name (ダブル・ネーム) goods. Studio Ghibli is now involved in a W-name product with Level-5 games, in the quite large scale RPG game Ni-no-Kuni (二ノ国).



With animation by Studio Ghibli, music by Jo Hisaishi, and voice acting done by some of pretty popular actors here in Japan: Mikako Tabe, Masami Nagasawa, and Junpei Mizobata, to name a few. Ni no Kuni is sure to be a hit in Japan. After seeing some of the game play on YouTube, I'm pretty impressed with the quality. Ghibli has done a wonderful job on the background scenery (gotta love the Ghibli forest) and characters.
