Pepsi Azuki Float: an experiment

On this fateful night, I happened to have the opportunity to hit the grocery store with the wife after a nice yakiniku dinner. We were looking for some desert, and because of the drop in temperature, ice-cream was the first thing on our minds. While we were pondering what delicious Haagen Daz Japan flavor to enjoy, I thought I'd give my previous idea a go-go-go!

Ingredients:
1 500mL bottle of Pepsi Azuki
1 container of vanilla ice-cream

Directions:
Pour some Pepsi Azuki into a large glass, and top off with a scoop of ice cream. Watch out, because the Pepsi Azuki will foam up quite a bit. Eat, drink, top off with more Pepsi Azuki and ice cream as necessary.

Just as I imagined, ice cream makes a great accompaniment to Pepsi Azuki. It does taste a lot like cream anmitsu, minus the "mitsu". Although, if you'd like to take it to another level, some venturous soul can get some anmitsu fixings: kanten cubes and candied fruit, to try and make some kind of parfait/float hybrid.

Give the Pepsi Azuki Float a try, and let us know what you think!
